Kids & Teens Classes
Jennifer’s cooking classes for kids and teens are upbeat and informative. Her lesson plans encourage students to take an interest in eating healthy while also helping them to develop safe, age appropriate skills and a desire to be in the kitchen with friends and family.
Choose from one of the class ideas below, or make your own menu with Jennifer’s guidance.
Kids Cooking Class (ages 8-11): $45 per person for 90 minute class. Minimum 6 students/ Maximum 8. Groceries included.
Teen Cooking Class (ages 12-18): $55 per person for 2 hour class. Minimum 6 students/Maximum 8. Groceries included.
Jennifer can work with any dietary restrictions, just ask!
Kids and teen classes are great for birthdays or special occasions. To set up, contact Jennifer directly.
Mouthwatering turkey and spinach meatballs baked or simmered in tomato sauce, served with pasta of choice and a side of garlicky broccoli.
First start by making homemade chicken or veggie dumplings, and then move on to preparing a mix of crunchy vegetables and chicken stir fried quickly and coated with a delicious Chinese-inspired brown sauce, served over rice.
Shredded chicken lightly seasoned to fill tacos or burritos, accompanied with beans, lettuce, tomato, and grated cheese. We’ll also make and homemade guacamole and homemade salsa!
Ground chicken, diced water chestnuts and some chopped onion, sautéed with a little garlic, ginger, soy, mirin and hoisin sauce….sweet and savory, served in butter lettuce leaves. Yum!
In the fall and winter, it’s great to be able to make homemade soups to warm the belly. Choose from a variety of soup options: Coconut Carrot, Roasted Tomato, White Bean & Kale, Mexican Chicken & Tortilla, or Butternut Squash- Apple- Carrot.
